Meet The Author & Illustrator...

Jay McCall, Author

Growing up in California, Jay McCall cultivated a love of reading and writing at a young age. He moved to Boise, Idaho in 2001 where he now resides with his Border Collie, Bailey, and when he’s not working on his next book, you can find him enjoying the mountains and rivers of Idaho, somewhere in the great outdoors on his mountain bike or just hanging out cooking for friends. He’s channeled his love of writing for kids with his love for the Lord and is currently working on a sequel to Jeremiah’s Angel.

Steve Kidwiler, Illustrator

Steve was born in North Carolina and raised in California in a home with strong Christian values and he and his wife Christine are passing those same beliefs on to their three children, Tucker, Nathan and Joshua. When he’s not creating artwork in one medium or another, he enjoys playing his guitar and riding dirt bikes with the family. Steve and Jay met over 15 years ago while working in the software industry, unaware that they would one day work together again as part of God’s plan for Jeremiah’s Angel.
